Melina Flaviana Di Fabrizio
Melina Flaviana Di Fabrizio is an Argentine visual artist, anthropologist, documentary photographer, transdisciplinary art therapist, and textile artist. From a young age, she chose to live around the world, embracing diversity as a central theme in both her life and creative practice.
As she engaged with photographic storytelling, Melina began to explore the realm of artistic expression and its transformative potential. She quickly realized that images serve as a powerful medium for self-discovery and communication, allowing individuals to convey deep emotions beyond words. While facilitating Therapeutic Photography workshops in Mexico, she uncovered the profound impact of emotional introspection and visual expression. This experience led her to pursue further training as an art therapist, deepening her engagement with therapeutic practices through the arts.
Melina currently supports migrant women through regular art therapy and embroidery meetings and facilitates workshops in photo-embroidery, creative embroidery, and therapeutic photography. She believes that artistic expression and the acknowledgment of inherent creativity are vital tools for both personal and social transformation. Through her work, she explores how art and the body can serve as pathways to resilience, empowerment, and healing.
