Curtain Light

East Surrey Hospital

Time folded.
Breath slowed.
Stillness held.

Then—
light
moved across the curtain,
soft and blue.

I watched it
ripple,
gather,
spill,

Dance.

And I smiled.
Even then.
Even there.
